Friday, 2/2/18, 7:00pm-9:00pm   Justin Bean repeats his popular workshop on Abstract Painting. Justin will lead participants through a playful exploration of acrylic paint, palette knives and masking tape with the intention of creating abstract art. We’ll explore wet-on-wet gestural painting and the use of a dry base layer to create texture and dramatic color combinations. In addition, we will introduce tape into the painting process to create layered compositions with increasing complexity and vibrancy. The end goal is for each participant to produce at least one frame worthy painting. $25.00 includes materials.
