Friday, May 25, 7:00pm Join us in the gallery for a sensory feast. Jay Ravani, chef of Culinary Solutions meets up with Dr. Chelsea Koziatek, flutist. Also, enjoy the visual accompaniment by pastel artist, Mary Jane Erard. The theme will be Caribbean fare; four courses with four musical selections. Wine served, compliments of The Neighbor’s Shoppe. The doors open at 6:30pm; soak in the atmosphere and greet your new friends.
This new class is offered to stretch your ideas about art…Let’s add a dimension and go 3D with paper mache´. Then we’ll carve into styrofoam and see how far lines take you into print making. Next, expand beyond your preconceived image with abstract painting, free form or by using a mask technique. Lastly, we’ll up-cycle either a less loved art piece or found items. Fun, imagination and courage = art. Five (5) Tuesday evenings, beginning June 5th. (2 paper maché classes) $115 per person. Class is limited to 8 students.
May 15, Tuesday, 3:45pm-5:00pm. For ages approximately 7-15 years old; we’ll be exploring watercolor painting with crayon resist, print making, acrylic painting on canvas board and paper sculpture.
