Along with 5 fun art adventures, campers will receive a T-shirt “smock” and a personal sketch book to encourage the habit of art making…a lifelong, life enhancing skill. Our camps are limited to 15 students and require five students to run a session. Please register two weeks prior to the session. The cost per child is $175, with a 5% family discount for 2 or more children and a 20% discount on a second session.
Articipate’s Art Cart is offering after school, one hour art lessons for students in grades 2-5. Taught by experienced art teachers, the lessons will include drawing with shading, printmaking, sculpture, Zentangle/patterns, life size self drawings, and collage. Our objective is to foster imagination and play while exploring new materials. A personal sketchbook is included to encourage practice and creativity outside the classroom. Teachers will also teach one of the standard art concepts per lesson (line, shape, space, color, values, form, texture).

Drawing on Life. Carole Wayner gently guides us into proportion and lets self expression prevail. Concentrated effort has rewards. You’ll learn more than drawing. You’ll learn how to see. Wednesdays, 1:00pm-3:00pm: Pre-register HERE, please. $20. Bring your own sketchbook, or buy one here for $3.
Cartooning is story telling through expressive pictures. It engages the IMAGINATION like nothing else. Nat Muglia teaches kids ages 8-14 yrs to create a story board, animate it and give it expression. Six Saturdays, Oct 1 through Nov. 5. 11:00am to 12:45pm, for $125 or $25 drop in fee.
