Experiencing the paintings of Liz Frankland, the viewer can almost feel the breeze entering through the screen door. For the last three years, Liz has been exploring the connection between the past and present; how we see and connect with the people and places that shape our lives. Her yesteryear scenes pull at the heart in a pleasing way. Liz Frankland is a graduate of CCS, BFA. All the art in this show is for sale and will be on display from July 16 through August 31.

Tuesdays, 6:00-9:00pm. Drawing the human figure has long been a staple for artists. With gesture and form drawings, in this 6 week class, we will also look at perspective, value and composition. Dan Keller, artist and teacher, has taught at WSU, BBAC and CCS. Five of the classes will have a live model. $169, includes cost of model. Specific dates are: 6/26, 7/10, 7/17, 7/24, 8/7, 8/14.
You will love the shapes and versatility of paper maché! It’s a satisfying process; the construction or molding of an armature, the draping and smoothing of paste soaked paper, then the decoration and painting of the hardened shell. Come and try it!
