Past Time by Liz Frankland

Scenes of the past
Past Time, art recalling the past.

Experiencing the paintings of Liz Frankland, the viewer can almost feel the breeze entering through the screen door. For the last three years, Liz has been exploring the connection between the past and present; how we see and connect with the people and places that shape our lives. Her yesteryear scenes pull at the heart in a pleasing way.  Liz Frankland is a graduate of CCS, BFA. All the art in this show is for sale and will be on display from  July 16 through August 31.

Portrayal of Women

Composed and expressive, these women are the artist’s family, idols and models. Janis Wagoner attended the College of Art and Design now known as CCS.  She enjoyed being part of the artist scene by working at the Detroit Artist Market.  Janis was the recipient of numerous awards from the Michigan Watercolor Society and once had a solo show at the DIA. I am pleased to share these oil paintings  (my mother’s) in the gallery until April 30th.
