This is an invitation to for caregivers, (paid or unpaid) to join Terry Ford Holcomb for a short series of art workshops.These classes are designed for those who need a relaxing, guilt free break from the day to day tasks of taking care of a loved one.No art experienceneeded.Each week we will explore artistic pursuits in watercolor, collage, art journal pages and so on.For the first class, using watercolor, we’ll draw and paint a bouquet of flowers bringing a hopeful sign of spring to come.There will be light refreshments and time for informal socializing.
$30 for 3 sessions, Fridays, 10:00 am to 11:30 am, March 8, 22 & 29. All materials provided. Preregister please. We need 10 people to run this class.

April 28, Sunday at 3:00pm: Featuring a performance by Dr. Chelsea Koziatek and Dr. Tia Harvey. This is a story told with music and narration. It will be followed by an art activity suitable for families.
Feb. 28, 7:00-9:00pm. At this Ladies Art Night we will be creating a St. Patrick’s Day metal & wood door hang. These multi media door hangs measure 23″, they look stunning on a front door or as a focal piece shamrock decoration. We will have different green & gold paints to choose from, ribbons for the center focal point and our center words will read “pinch me”(these are optional.) Feb. 12, 6:00-8:30pm. In this drawing class you’ll learn to find shapes, map values AND create a pleasing composition by using principles of design. Dan Keller, instructor at WSU, CCS and BBAC, will teach at Articipate on Tuesday evenings for five weeks. $125
March 5, 7:00pm-9:00pm. At this Ladies Art Night we will be creating tissue painted silk scarves. This innovative technique is using art tissue, water, vinegar & silk. You can be as creative as you would like, cutting shapes, tearing, layering, color combinations, patterns etc… The scarves measure 8″ x 54″. $31 per person, pre pay using our ticket button. Please bring your ticket receipt with you the evening of the workshop or a screen shot of it on your phone. All materials will be provided.
