April 13, 1:30-4:30pm. Mary Jane Erard returns to teach painting with pastels. She is a creative teacher; each student learns pastel painting techniques applied to a chosen, traced image. Pet Portraits are a favorite subject, but animals, birds and fish have pleasing organic shapes for an eye catching image. $36. Pigments provided.
Sunday, Feb. 24, 1:30-4:30pm. Mary Jane Erard, pastel artist and teacher, will conduct a 3 hour workshop in which you will learn how to use these soft chalks to create a pet portrait. No pet? Wildlife can suffice. Sanded pastel paper ($2) will be available at the class. All other supplies will be provided. Register on calendar page. Five students are required to run this class. $36.

Sunday, January 28, from 12:30 to 3:30 Join Terry Ford-Holcomb for an afternoon of creative art journaling. Learn several mixed media techniques for that journal you’ve been meaning to use. Lots of stencils, ideas and paint for exploring possibilities. Bring your imagination and a spiral journal (or purchase at class for $5.00). It can be a messy process, but oh so much fun! Fee: $35; Class limited to 10 participants.
Wed. May 24th, 6:00pm-8:00pm. Handsome Tiles. The limited color pallet makes these designs pop. Pam Signorelli, CZT, will show you how. Beginners welcome. $25 includes all materials.
Tuesday, April 18, 6:00-8:00pm. Bob Zeichner will show you how to make T hinges, measure your mat area for either a window or overmat and cut a beveled mat with affordable mat cutting tools. You’ll also use a Logan Mat Machine and compare the experiences. After this workshop, you’ll be able to mount and mat your work for any frame kit. Cost is $25 which includes one archival mat board, ivory, 17” x 11”.
Thursday, March 2: You and Jen Blake will be creating Saint Patrick’s Day button art canvases. The finished size of our multi media creations will be 8 x 8. Use Mod Podge, papers, ribbon, a variety of green buttons to create these canvases. $21 per person pre pay, $25 at the door. All materials will be provided. Monday, January 30, 2017. We will be creating rustic boho arrows. The finished arrow measures 27.75 inches by 7 inches tall. Get ready to paint, stain, and/or wash to create just the look you want. These arrows look great with gallery photo walls, garden accents or as a Valentine decoration. $21 per person pre pay, $25 at the door. All materials will be provided.
