The Contemporary Ceramic Show will highlight innovations in 3D ceramic art.  Our objectives are to recognize local artists’ talent, to draw new audiences into Articipate and into ceramic arts.

Articipate

Articipate Art Studio /Gallery in Berkley has been a resource for artists since 2013. Throughout the month of December, it will become a showcase for local artists.  Opening December 1, the “Contemporary Ceramic Show” will exclusively feature 3D ceramic art on pedestals throughout the floor. Later, on December 6, Articipate will host another opening of small paintings and artisan creations for “Precious Gifts,” a market for the Holidays. All the art will be shown together until the show ends on December 29th or until it sells.

Opportunity

There will be a cash prize of $100 awarded for the best ceramic entry at the opening. The combination of arts will draw the attention of people of various interests and create a mix that will increase the audience enjoyment. Hosting two openings will provide extra exposure to your art. During the month of December, the business hours of Articipate will be 11:00 am to 5:00 pm everyday except Mondays and holidays.

Eligibility

This opportunity is open to any artist in the medium of ceramics who is at least 18 years or older.
